This event is part of a series of seminars organized throughout the OSCE area to encourage multi-stakeholder dialogue on approaches to effectively counter violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT) by upholding human rights and the rule of law. Countering VERLT is a strategic focus area for OSCE counter-terrorism activities. This seminar will bring together representatives from public authorities, civil society and academia, and will place a particular focus on how community policing can contribute to countering VERLT and preventing terrorism.
