The Department’s work

Managing the efficient and effective use of OSCE resources

The Department supports and oversees the efficient and effective use of OSCE resources, maintains and updates the Department-related part of the Common Regulatory Management System and—most importantly—provides timely, quality and value-added services to its clients and other stakeholders. The Department provides programmatic support and policy guidance in the areas of budget and finance, information and communication technology, procurement and contracting, asset management, logistics, travel management, transport, premises management, and implementing partners.

These Financial Statements have been audited by the External Auditor appointed by the Permanent Council (PC), the Cour des Comptes of France, who expressed an unmodified (unqualified) opinion that they present a fair view of the OSCE’s finances in 2022. They are now final and have been circulated to the Advisory Committee on Management and Finance (ACMF) and the External Auditor has presented his main findings to the Committee and to the PC. However, the PC has been unable to date to find consensus on acceptance of the Financial Statements
