France

France is one of the original signatories of the 1975 Helsinki Final Act, a foundational participant in the 1973 CSCE negotiations, and has played a significant role in shaping the modern Organization by hosting the second CSCE Summit. At this Summit, the Charter of Paris for a New Europe was adopted, establishing the basis for the OSCE. France is represented by a Permanent Delegation to the OSCE and the Parliamentary Assembly.
