5+2 talks on Transdniestrian settlement to take place in Kyiv on 25-26 November

KYIV/CHISINAU, 22 November 2013 – Official negotiations on the Transdniestrian settlement process will take place in Kyiv from 25 to 26 November. This will be the last round of negotiations under the Ukrainian OSCE Chairmanship in 2013.
The meeting in the 5+2 format will gather representatives of the sides, mediators and observers in the negotiation process - Moldova, Transdniestria, the OSCE, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the United States and the European Union. Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Conflicts will chair the talks.
Venue: Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Velyka Zhytomyrska st., 2, Kyiv.
On 25 November at 15:00 (Kyiv time) the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara will address the participants of the 5+2 negotiations on November 25 (open to media).
Photos from the opening session will be made available by the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
On 26 November at 18:00 (Kyiv time) Ambassador Deshchytsia; Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova Ambassador Jennifer Brush; and Moldovan and Transdniestrian Chief Negotiators, Eugen Carpov and Nina Shtanski, will hold a concluding press briefing.
