OSCE Troika meets in Vienna on 21 October

VIENNA, 20 October 1999 - The Foreign Ministers of the OSCE Troika - Minister Knut Vollebaek of Norway, Minister Wolfgang Schüssel of Austria and Minister Bronislaw Geremek of Poland - will meet on Thursday, 21 October in Vienna. The Secretary General of the OSCE, Jan Kubis, will also take part in the meeting.
Also participating will be the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Max van der Stoel, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Freimut Duve, and the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Helle Degn. The deliberations will focus on current issues of concern to the OSCE. The meeting will be held in the Hofburg.
Prior to the meeting, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office will address the Permanent Council.
ADDRESS BY THE CHAIRMAN-IN-OFFICE
Media representatives are invited to attend the meeting of the Permanent Council during the speech of the Chairman-in-Office. Those interested should be at the accreditation desk outside the Neuer Saal in the Hofburg not later than 11:00.
TROIKA PRESS CONFERENCE
Following the Troika meeting, Troika Ministers will hold a press conference, at 13:30 in Segmentgalerie I.
For media accreditation, please bring wither your OSCE badge or a media identification card. Parking is available on Thursday from 8:30 - 14:30 in the OSCE-reserved parking area of the Hofburg for those with clearly marked "Presse" signs
