This report presents the findings of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Mission) survey measuring the perceptions, attitudes, and personal experience of a representative sample of 1001 adult residents (523 men and 478 women) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) regarding discrimination in BiH conducted from 12 August to 13 September 2019.

The OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre (CPC) provides a direct link between the OSCE field operations and the Secretariat in Vienna.

In order to support the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in BiH, a national Network of Aarhus Centres was formed in 2013 under the auspices of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Network represents a platform for exchanging information between competent authorities on the one hand and the public on the other. It encourages transparency within the work of public bodies and enables citizens to voice their views and concerns on decisions that may have an impact on the environment. The BiH Network of Aarhus Centres comprises four Aarhus Centres based in Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Zenica. The Aarhus Centres are part of a broader OSCE-wide network which covers 15 countries in South Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the South Caucuses.

The OSCE promotes professional, democratic police services that are trusted by citizens and able to effectively address transnational threats to security and stability, such as those that emanate from terrorism and organized crime. Police-related activities are integral parts of the OSCE’s efforts in conflict prevention, crisis management and post-conflict rehabilitation. The Strategic Police Matters Unit (SPMU) is the focal point for the OSCE’s police-related work. As a part of the OSCE Transnational Threats Department (TNTD), the SPMU supports the activities of the Secretary General, the OSCE Chairmanship, the TNTD Director, participating States and field operations.

The Justice Monitor is a publication of the observations of OSCE monitors in the first instance courts in Kosovo. The Justice Monitor aims to provide policymakers and justice sector actors with indicators not otherwise available. This helps to identify compliance gaps in the administration of justice and the tracking of progress achieved in closing those gaps.
