In 2019, the OSCE Mission to Skopje together with the Coalition ‘All for Fair Trials’ implemented trial monitoring activities focused on criminal cases in the field of organised crime and corruption. The Analysis of the data obtained from the monitored trials provides a deeper insight into the implementation of the Law on Criminal Procedure in the organized crime and corruption cases and offers recommendations for future interventions and reforms directed towards strengthened judicial system in the Republic of North Macedonia which, in turn, should lead towards increased public trust in the judiciary.

The publication takes stock of technology tools and initiatives developed to combat trafficking in human beings in its different forms in the OSCE area and beyond. It also examines the ways technology can be misused to facilitate trafficking in human beings. It is the first known publication to conduct a global analysis of how different stakeholders, including law enforcement, civil society, businesses and academia can take advantage of technology to advance the fight against the human trafficking crime. The publication also provides recommendations to governments and organizations funding technology projects on how to maximize the value of technology-based solutions.

This report evaluates 20 years of functioning of property rights mass-claim mechanisms in Kosovo. The resolution of conflict-related property claims undoubtedly constitutes a key step towards protecting the rights of the affected communities in Kosovo. It also fosters return and encourages the overall reconciliation process and inter-community relations within the society. Therefore, the effective functioning of such mechanisms has a significant potential impact on the lives of thousands of displaced persons and refugees.
