The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine – in line with its mandate – plans, implements and monitors projects across the politico-military, economic and environmental, and human dimensions of security, engaging both the governmental and non-governmental bodies of Ukraine.

This procurement guidance is a key step in rolling out the implementation of anti-trafficking measures in OSCE’s own procurement across its executive structures and aligning the OSCE’s mandates with its own processes. The guidance’s aim is to support procurement and anti-trafficking staff in the OSCE with the background knowledge to implement anti-trafficking measures in procurement activities; alongside training workshops, procurement risk analyses and local action plans. Preventing trafficking and labour exploitation in supply chains is no easy task. By taking these first steps, the OSCE is developing further expertise, and is supporting OSCE participating States and the international community in their ongoing efforts to prevent trafficking for forced labour in their supply chains.

Aimed at both legislators and schools, this handbook offers guidance on preparing curricula for teaching about religions and beliefs, preferred procedures for assuring fairness in the development of curricula, and standards for how they could be implemented.

This guide, developed jointly by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and Omega Research Foundation, seeks to share some of the technical knowledge monitors need to accurately and independently document the presence and manner of the use of law enforcement equipment during public assemblies.

Intolerance against Muslims in any form — be it violence, discrimination, harassment or online abuse — has a detrimental effect on the lives of Muslim individuals and communities. This Guide is designed to aid governments in their actions on preventing and combating hate crimes including by an analysis of security risks and the necessary actions required, with the aim of improving the capacity of the police and other institutions to meet the security needs of Muslim communities and individuals. It also touches on select topics, such as the underreporting and under-recording of hate crimes against Muslims. In addition, the Guide sets out practical steps that governments can take to address issues of security for Muslim communities, which work in tandem with the efforts within these same communities.

This is one of a set of ten specialized teaching aids to support teachers to address anti-Semitism. These teaching aids offer guidance for responding effectively to challenging questions or behaviour from students, provide brief but essential background information on contemporary manifestations of Anti-Semitism, and signpost other useful resources for further reading.
