This publication is designed to clarify the interrelationship between freedom of religion and security in light of the OSCE’s comprehensive framework for peace and security. It further explains the nature, status and scope of freedom of religion or belief as enshrined in OSCE commitments and international and regional standards. Finally, it provides guiding principles, practical guidance and recommendations to address a number of issues of note at the intersection of freedom of religion or belief and security in the OSCE region.

This report provides a comprehensive overview of all police-related projects, activities and events, which draw on the combined strength of the OSCE’s Institutions and its network of field operations, often cutting across the OSCE’s three security dimensions.

This research was implemented by the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) with the OSCE Mission to Serbia's support. Paying particular attention to the goals of the Strategy of Development of System of Public Information in the Republic of Serbia (2020-2025), the research was conducted in order to better understand socio-economic position and working status of journalists and media workers in Vojvodina region, with special focus on position of female journalists, journalists working in minority language media, as well as freelancers and other journalists without permanent employment status.

A new UNESCO and ODIHR co-publication takes up the challenge of educating learners to resist contemporary anti-Semitism at a time when the issue is becoming ever more crucial around the world. It suggests concrete ways to address anti-Semitism, counter prejudice and promote tolerance through education, by designing programmes based on a human rights framework, global citizenship education, inclusiveness and gender equality. It also provides policymakers with tools and guidance to ensure that education systems build the resilience of young people to anti-Semitic ideas and ideologies, violent extremism and all forms of intolerance and discrimination, through critical thinking and respect for others.
