This is one of a set of ten specialized teaching aids to support teachers to address anti-Semitism. This research was implemented by the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) with the OSCE Mission to Serbia's support. Paying particular attention to the goals of the Strategy of Development of System of Public Information in the Republic of Serbia (2020-2025), the research was conducted in order to better understand socio-economic position and working status of journalists and media workers in Vojvodina region, with special focus on position of female journalists, journalists working in minority language media, as well as freelancers and other journalists without permanent employment status.

This Compendium presents an overview of legislation, policies, and mechanisms for ensuring the protection and enforcement of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of armed forces personnel. It includes many examples and good practices from across the OSCE region that have proven successful. It also contains recommendations which can help participating States ensure that their policies and practices are in full compliance with international human rights standards and OSCE human dimension commitments.

The publication is the updated version of the Reference Manual of the OSCE Economic and Environmental Dimension Commitments, published in 2014. The compilation is organized according to major meetings of the OSCE policy-making bodies. It contains the text of all Economic and Environmental Dimension related documents adopted at Summit and Ministerial Council levels, as well as relevant Permanent Council decisions.

Since 2017, the OSCE Mission to Serbia through the DemSec project has been supporting the Public Policy Research Centre in launching annual competition for the best human security essays for students from Belgrade University. Given the global impact of Covid-19 on all aspects of social life, this year’s Call for Papers focused on the effects of the pandemic on human security and the threat posed by the virus on individuals in a variety of fields. All three papers chosen this year were written by women and all three examine Covid-19 as a global phenomenon and a threat to security. This publication is available in Serbian and in English.
