This Handbook for Protocol Officers serves to raise awareness and inform the relevant authorities about how to prevent trafficking in human beings for domestic servitude in diplomatic households, how to detect abuses and how to react to exploitative situations while protecting the rights of the domestic worker. This handbook will increase knowledge about strategies and policies to discourage non-compliance in the employment of private domestic workers in diplomatic households. It will also provide examples of national practices which have proven effective towards those ends.

This Manual is designed to promote implementation of the democratic governance principles in the work of the Municipal Councils of North Macedonia. It aims at promoting the concept of inclusiveness, efficiency and effectiveness, transparency, and openness within the performance of the Municipal Councils’ authorities. Not available in English.

Due to the important oversight role of ombudspersons, as independent institutions, the OSCE Mission to Serbia supports the Association of Ombudspersons in Serbia (AOS) in its efforts to help local ombudspersons in fulfilling their mandate of setting the standards in the work of democratic institutions and through continuous protection of the rights of citizens. The Information Guide for Practitioners on Access to Property Rights in Kosovo is designed for practitioners working in the area of property rights, such as civil society organizations, notaries, cadastral offices and municipal bodies, where an interested party can direct their questions regarding property and inheritance rights. The Guide provides information on the main concepts related to property rights; it explains the process of property registration step by step, and offers an updated directory of main stakeholders that can facilitate exercising one’s property rights on the municipal level. The Guide emphasizes the equal rights of women and men to enjoy their property and inheritance rights and is accompanied by a Women's Access to Property and Inheritance Rights in Kosovo.
