This publication explains gender equality in political life in terms of access, voice and transformation and provides guidance on how to conduct a national assessment of gender equality in political life and on how to develop a national action plan based on the findings of the assessment.

This Consolidated Reference aims to inform all personnel of the OSCE, as well as offices, institutions, field missions/presences, and relevant interested organizations, about international and OSCE commitments, projects and programmes related to the prevention and combating of terrorism. Tech Against Trafficking, OSCE and other organizations identified 305 technology initiatives during the research on the positive use of technology to fight Trafficking in Human Beings.

The purpose of this guide is to give Roma and Sinti activists an easily accessible overview of the relevant international and regional human rights standards on forced evictions, with a particular focus on the findings of international and regional human rights tribunals in relation to Roma and Sinti evictions. In addition, by including numerous references to the judgments and decisions of international human rights courts, Roma and Sinti activists can familiarize themselves with these decisions and draw them to the attention of the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and human rights lawyers with whom they cooperate. These can then be incorporated into their legal advocacy and litigation, rendering them more effective.

This guide was developed with the aim to strengthen law enforcement capacities for preventing and combating trafficking in human beings, facilitate identification of the emerging trends and new forms of human trafficking and serve as a minimum set standard for trainers.

This publication, intended for gender equality and party development experts from political parties across the OSCE region and beyond, complements ODIHR's online gender audit tool and provides practical guidance on how to conduct gender audits and implement gender action plans.

The Guidelines for improving court practice in compensation proceedings for victims of serious crime in criminal proceedings have been developed by the Supreme Court of Cassation Working Group, with support from the OSCE Mission to Serbia throught the project “Support for Victims and Witnesses of Crime in Serbia”, implemented by the OSCE Mission and financed by the European Union. The Guidelines point out to the competent authorities’ obligation to decide on compensation within criminal proceedings, they provide answers to questions relating to determining the damage, types of non-material damage, as well as determining the amount of monetary compensation, and they emphasize the importance of informing victims about their rights. The publication covers criminal acts committed in protected natural areas, and is intended to aid the police, prosecutors, judges and environmental inspectors to investigate and prosecute crimes committed in protected areas through enhanced institutional co-operation. It lays out the authorities and competences of various stakeholders (at the state, provincial and municipal levels) in applying regulations related to managing protected areas. It also contains good practice examples and case studies, lessons learned and proposed recommendations for improved efficiency and effectiveness of operation and cooperation between stakeholders. This publication offers comprehensive guidance on how to conduct human rights and gender self-assessment in the armed forces to contribute to proper respect for, protection and promotion of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of armed forces personnel.
