Bearing in mind past practice in the RS, this report demonstrates the positive impact the Tunjice juvenile institution may have on the effective rehabilitation of juvenile offenders within the judicial and penal correctional system, which is one of the principles of the July 2006 National Strategy against Juvenile Offending. The report also points to remaining concerns regarding the treatment of juveniles in conflict with the law and respect for their basic human rights, as established by international instruments and reflected in Entity law.

This publication is targeted to members of Precinct Election Commissions and is used during training courses organized by the Central Electoral Commission, with the assistance of the International Foundation for Election Systems prior to elections.

Proceedings and winners of the Max van der Stoel Award ceremonies 2003 and 2005. The Max van der Stoel Award Commemorative Book 2003 and 2005 provides an overview of the awards ceremonies in these two years, including key speeches by the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, the foreign minister of the Netherlands and the laureates. It also features the winners of the awards, in 2003, the Latvian Centre for Human Rights and Ethnic Studies, Riga, and in 2005, the Memorial Historical, Educational, Human Rights and Charitable Society, Moscow, and both organizations’ efforts to improve the position of national minorities in OSCE participating States.
