The Annual Report on OSCE activities provides an overview of the Organization's activities in its field operations and institutions as well as its co-operation with other international organizations

This handbook is produced jointly by ODIHR and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of the Armed Forces (DCAF). It presents an overview of legislation, policies, and mechanisms for ensuring the protection and enforcement of the human rights and fundamental freedoms of armed forces personnel.

The publication summarizes incidents of violence and intimidation directed against reporters and news outlets in Armenia in 2012, including the legal suits filed on charges of slander and insult. Prepared by the Investigative Journalists NGO, supported by the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe has published a Good Practices Guide on Non-Nuclear Critical Energy Infrastructure Protection (NNCEIP) from Terrorist Attacks Focusing on Threats Emanating from Cyberspace. The Guide was developed by a number of public and private sector experts from OSCE participating States, as well as experts from the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The project was sponsored by the United States, and the work on the Guide was coordinated by the Action against Terrorism Unit (ATU) of the Transnational Threats Department in the OSCE Secretariat. A Russian version is forthcoming.

This handbook provides a thorough overview of the ODIHR’s observation methodology and serves as a reference work for all members of an EOM. It also informs the OSCE community at large, including governments of participating States, political parties, candidates, voters, and civil society, about the planning, deployment, and implementation of an election observation mission.

This Occasional Paper, the fourth in a series of Occasional Papers published by the OSR/CTHB, is the result of the Alliance High-level Conference on “Unprotected Work, Invisible Exploitation: Trafficking for the Purpose of Domestic Servitude” hosted by the Special Representative in Vienna on 17 and 18 June 2010 and the Background Paper which informed the dialogue and exchange at the Conference. The Paper is meant to provide a policy tool for decision makers and practitioners dealing with trafficking in human beings on the ground. It is based on desk research, field work and case study analyses in order to shed light on one of the most invisible forms of modern-day slavery. The Paper also benefits from the comments, inputs and expertise of specialized NGOs. Furthermore, it is enriched by the valuable contributions and direct experience of policy makers and public officials (including law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, diplomats), as well as trade unions, international organizations and academics who participated in the Alliance Conference.

This publication has been prepared in the framework of the project “Climate Change and Security Scenarios for Eastern Europe” implemented by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in a frame of the Environment and Security Initiative (ENVSEC).

The purpose of this strategy is to provide recommendations for enhancing the public outreach work of the Constitutional Court.
