The Annual Progress Report on the Implementation of the 2004 OSCE Action Plan for the Promotion of Gender Equality highlights the main achievements of the Organization regarding gender parity, capacity of staff, organizational culture and overall gender mainstreaming improvements within the organization. The report includes information about the support the OSCE executive structures provide to participating States in promoting gender equality.

This paper is intended to be used by youth practitioners from international organisations, public institutions and the youth sector within the OSCE region and beyond. It includes an overview of existing practices and good practice examples, based on the experience of youth practitioners who contributed to the roundtable discussions and key informant interviews. The paper also calls for continued peer learning and support among practitioners and youth activists from different sectors. So much is being done in the youth field, but practitioners too often work in isolation. The OSCE roundtable events upon which this paper is framed sought to bring people together and inspire a community of good practice around youth engagement. This tool seeks to extend the lessons from these events to an even broader audience, further growing the community.

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is implementing the Support to Electoral Reforms in the Western Balkans project to support institutions and civil society in their efforts to follow-up on election observation recommendations. The project scope covers the areas related to election management, voter registration, the role and work of the media during election campaigns, the ability of parties and candidates to freely campaign and the capacity and independence of electoral dispute resolution bodies.

This publication offers a discussion on why and how to adopt a ‘social path’ approach to identifying and assisting victims of trafficking in human beings, irrespective of their willingness to participate in criminal proceedings. Based on a review of international law, engagement between the Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and the OSCE participating States, and a desk review of the information available about the emerging ‘social path’ practices, it is a reference and advocacy tool to support the introduction of the ‘social’ path framework at the national level.

This report provides a comprehensive overview of all police-related projects, activities and events, which draw on the combined strength of the OSCE’s Institutions and its network of field operations, often cutting across the OSCE’s three security dimensions.
