This book by the OSCE Senior Police Adviser draws together the common basic principles and characteristics of community policing applied in the OSCE area and answers questions about what community policing is and what it is not.

This study provides information on the progress made in the implementation of global Women, Peace and Security agenda in the OSCE region, highlighting main trends and challenges. It examines the National Action Plans of OSCE participating States, and offers more in-depth information on how Women, Peace and Security agenda is implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine.

WAVE (Women Against Violence Europe) launched this project in collaboration with OSCE to improve the support to survivors of violence and civil society organizations (CSOs) in conflict and post-conflict areas. Based on the expertise of women’s organizations, this toolkit not only presents the harm and challenges posed by conflicts but also documents promising first-hand practices with concrete examples from four WAVE members, including their initiatives and recommendations as women’s organizations who experience and have experienced war.

This report explores the nature, scope and scale of the restrictions that have been imposed on the right to freedom of peaceful assembly in OSCE participating States and analyses them in light of the established standards related to the right to peacefully assemble. These have been developed and refined over many years by bodies such the United Nations, ODIHR and the Council of Europe through the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights.

The OSCE Secretary General’s Annual Report gives an overview of the Organization's activities and its co-operation with partner states and other organizations.

The OSCE report “Protection of Cultural Heritage in Kosovo” provides insight into the policy, legal and administrative frameworks of cultural heritage protection. The report analyses the close interconnectivity between heritage protection, security, infrastructure and spatial planning issues. Specific features of heritage protection in Kosovo, such as the Special Protective Zones (SPZs) and the Implementation and Monitoring Council (IMC), are also assessed. The report formulates recommendations to enhance the existing legislation and to improve the structural conditions in the field of heritage identification, preservation and promotion.

This report highlights the impact of activities carried out by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in 2021, the year that marked the Office’s 30th anniversary.

Turning commitments into action: Conclusions and recommendations to implement the OSCE commitments on preventing and combating violence against women and girls

This report provides an overview of the efforts made to develop an OSCE approach to SSG/R. It also covers the progress achieved in SSG/R in the period 2014–2018 and focuses on support provided by OSCE executive structures to participating States.
