An OSCE-supported a workshop on enhancing youth participation in political and civic life in Kazakhstan took place in Nur-Sultan on 15 October 2021. Some 50 members of parliament, representatives of the Ministry of Information and Social development, youth organizations, young experts and human rights defenders participated in the event, which was held in a blended format.

The OSCE-supported annual Central Asian Leadership Programme (CALP) for some 40 young environmental leaders and decision-makers from the state, non-government, academic and business sectors of Central Asia and Afghanistan began on 20 September 2021 in Almaty. Participants from five Central Asian countries and Afghanistan took part in the event held in a blended format.

Model OSCE conference for youth started in Kazakhstan

The four-day Model OSCE conference for youth started today, 20 February 2020, at Nazarbayev University in Nur-Sultan. Thirty-five participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan involving Masters and PhD students as well as young professionals took part in the conference.
