The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina developed, and, during the period from October 2019 to March 2022, implemented the project “Quality Education through Curriculum Reform”, funded by the governments of the Kingdom of Norway and the Italian Republic. The Project aimed to support education authorities in answering to an urgent need for change (PISA 2018, TIMSS 2019, and the struggles of online teaching amidst the COVID-19 pandemic) by improving inclusivity and quality of education through reforming curricula in line with the BiH Common Core Curriculum based on Student Learning Outcomes. This factsheet contains brief summary of project results.

The publication comprises the internal and external assessments of the activities and the structure of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors (AJPP). The internal assessment is focused on evaluating the decision-making processes, the management bodies, and the structure of the employees. This also includes the assessment of the training needs of management bodies and the employees of the AJPP, to raise their knowledge about diversity and gender equality. The analysis of the external activities assesses whether diversity and gender equality are included in the overall training conducted at the AJPP, including the bylaws for initial and continuous education and training, as well as the annual curriculums.

The Guidelines for the Effective Performance of Municipal Coordination Mechanisms against Domestic Violence (MCMDV) are a practical tool to facilitate more effective and co-ordinated responses of these mechanisms to domestic violence cases at the local level.
