Within the European Support for Roma Inclusion project, 20 sets of technical documents for improvement of living conditions in substandard Roma settlements were developed in 14 municipalities. Technical documents include designs for the construction or re-construction of basic infrastructure (water and sanitation, street networks, electrical grids, etc.), flood and underground water protection designs, as well as improvement of housing and working conditions of Roma population that lives in informal settlements.

OSCE participating States have committed themselves to ensuring special protection of human rights defenders. ODIHR brings attention to the situation of human rights defenders across the OSCE region, so that participating States can better support these individuals and the rights they defend.

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo provides capacity-building for the Kosovo Police and community safety forums, along with monitoring and advocacy for the implementation of the Community Safety Strategy 2017-2021. Municipal Community Safety Councils (MCSCs) are essential consultative community policing mechanisms at the municipal level. Chaired by the mayor, with active participation of the police station commander, the MCSCs engage bi-monthly in their proactive advisory role, discussing security concerns and initiatives, while instilling pluralism in community safety provisioning and wide representation of communities' interest groups, women and civil society. The public awareness poster launched in December 2016 promotes the roles and mandates of common members of each MCSC throughout Kosovo, including the North where their establishment is expected in the nearest future.

The research was conducted in November-December 2016 for the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in the framework of project “Addressing Conflict-related Threats to Social Security in Ukraine” implemented at the request of and in partnership with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

The brochure portrays basic principles of circular economy and its benefits to environmental safety, job generation and economic growth through inclusive policies. It also contains concrete information regarding improvements in national waste management policies supporting circular economy development, transition from linear to circular economy and its impact on energy consumption and preservation, new opportunities for the Serbian industry in the sphere of circular economy, international experiences as well as national support programmes and good practice examples from Serbia. The publication is available in Serbian language only.
