The updated analysis The role of independent institutions and civil society in the development and control of the application of artificial intelligence from the aspect of human rights and freedom of expression aims to contribute to the analytical foundations of the application of media policies

This special report by the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media focuses on three of the most poignant and current topics related to legal harassment: “extremism” and terrorism related charges under public law; defamation claims under public law; and abusive private lawsuits against journalists and other media workers. The report aims to provide general guidance to the OSCE participating States regarding their related commitments.

This research was implemented by the Independent Journalists' Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) with the OSCE Mission to Serbia's support.
