The research Media users over the age of 65 in Serbia identifies dominant media usage habits of older adults, their motivations and attitudes as well as gender differences of media users in this population that makes one fifth of all citizens in Serbia. The research contributes to the implementation of Action plan of the Strategy for the development of public information system 2020-2025.

The report Gender-based violence against women politicians in Serbia and its brief – Violence against women politicians in Serbia: women in politics at the tripoint of gender, power and political culture were commissioned by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), while the OSCE Mission to Serbia supported its publishing. The purpose of the report is to identify patterns of structural, cultural and direct violence against women in politics, backed by personal experience of respondents, to analyze public and media discourse relating to women politicians and provide factual basis for further analyses and action in addressing violence against women in politics.

This report is the result of the OSCE Mission to Serbia’s efforts to monitor the peer elections of prosecutors to the State Prosecutors’ Council (SPC), conducted from October to December 2020. The Serbian non-governmental organization YUCOM served as an implementing partner in monitoring the election. Activities included: monitoring peer elections across Serbia; analysing the underlying legal framework; and interviewing prosecutors who participated in the process.

Mapping of the representation of women and man at managing position in the news media outlets is part of wider tendencies to further research media industry from the gender perspective. The main objective of this research is to map gender distribution of roles and point out the patterns of unequal participation, and thereby unequal opportunities that occur in media professions and institutions at the highest decision-making functions when it comes to the news media outlets. The publication also aims to offer recommendations for addressing the identified issues.
