The 2022 Annual Report on the Activities of Permanent Working Group for Safety of Journalists (PWG) was written by its members Marija Babic (Independent Journalists Association of Serbia) and Veran Matic (Association of Independent Electronic Media) as well as by Miroslav Jankovic from the OSCE Mission to Serbia. The findings of this Report point out that activities of the PWG in 2022 were more intensive and certain positive practices were established, and the solidarity it demonstrated in certain cases was of great importance for the journalists. Year 2022 was marked by very disturbing cases of threats to journalists and the media outlets, and the PWG representatives recognized the need to change and adapt the way of their work and to intensify activities, not only in regular and extraordinary meetings, but also through visits to the newsrooms and journalists, to local media outlets, and support for journalists and media outlets facing difficult court proceedings. According to the PWG’s Rulebook, the Group has to publish report about its work and activities once a year, and this Report represents fulfilment of this obligation for 2022.

The research Media users over the age of 65 in Serbia identifies dominant media usage habits of older adults, their motivations and attitudes as well as gender differences of media users in this population that makes one fifth of all citizens in Serbia. The research contributes to the implementation of Action plan of the Strategy for the development of public information system 2020-2025.
