The Office supports the host country in implementing effective anti-trafficking measures, in particular a national referral mechanism that creates a framework for the protection of victims’ rights. It also assists with the drafting of legislation and training for Kazakhstan’s officials, law enforcement officers, and judges on international anti-trafficking tools and standards.
