The OSCE Office in Baku invites civil society organizations interested in participating in the 5th round of Call for Concept Papers for the Civic Action for Security and Environment (CASE) Small Grants Programme to an information meeting. The meeting will provide the participants with an overview of the CASE Programme, the grant application procedures, and an introduction to the linkages between environment and security. The CASE Programme provides small grants worth up to AZN 14,000 to civil society projects that address environment and security issues. The themes for grants are as follows: sustainable management of natural resources; combating land degradation; natural and man-made disasters; management of hazardous wastes and chemicals; mining; sustainable transportation; climate change; and energy. A complete set of the Call for Concept Paper documents may be obtained at the OSCE web site: http://www.osce.org/az/baku/93368 Interested organizations are kindly requested to register their participation in the event with Ms. Zahra Ahmadova at zahra.ahmadova@osce.org no later than 12 September 2012. To register, please send your organization’s name, the name of the participant, e-mail and telephone number.
