This handbook offers a survey of trends, examples, questions for consideration and recommendations to guide national human rights institutions in strengthening their capacity and practical work on women’s rights and gender equality.

The project on Women in Local Elections is being implemented by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in collaboration with the civil society organisation as well as municipality representatives from Bratunc, Bugojno, Jezero, Kalesija, Novo Goražde, Orašje, Olova, Posušje, Srebrenica i Zavidovići. The aim of the project is to improve women's participation in politics as well as their role as voters and representatives in the municipal assemblies. This leaflet is not available in English.

A baseline study carried out by the NGO Social Justice with support of the OSCE Office in Yerevan serves as the basis for relevant state bodies to develop policies and strategies to introduce a probation service in Armenia, in line with the state programme of 2012-2016 legal and judicial reforms.
