This leaflet aims to increase the understanding of high school students on what constitutes sexual violence and sexual harassment, and offers guidance on safe reporting. It is available in English, Albanian and Serbian languages.

The report assesses the extent to which core legislation protecting basic human rights, such as gender equality, anti-discrimination, rights of communities, language rights and protection against domestic violence, are implemented by Kosovo institutions.

Legal framework in Kosovo provides equal opportunities for men and women in a wide range of property and housing related issues. In practice, challenges with implementing the laws and social norms that tend to favor men infringe upon women’s ability to equally enjoy their rights in this regard. This guide is designed for women who are interested in learning more about their own property and housing-related rights, and civil society organizations and municipal bodies to guide them in the provision of support and services to women on property and housing rights. It is also a tool aimed to inform both women and men on these issues and to provide a comprehensive mapping and contact details of main stakeholders at the municipal level where they can direct their questions and concerns.

The OSCE report ‘Criminal Case Management and the Scheduling of Trials’ reviews criminal trials scheduled over a three-month reporting period in 2023. The report examines international case management best practices together with OSCE trial monitoring findings to assess challenges and barriers to efficient criminal trial scheduling in Kosovo.

The report provides an overview of the current status of voluntary returns to Kosovo, including conflict-affected displacements of persons to the Western Balkans region and within Kosovo itself. The reports finds that while there have been some improvements since 2012, the return process is affected by unresolved property issues, administrative difficulties in applications for assistance, and in some returns sites, problematic inter-community relations and security incidents.

On 23 October 2004, the Assembly of Kosovo will be elected for the second time. Kosovo citizens of at least 18 years of age and civilly registered are called on to elect members to the highest body of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government.

The report assesses the four local-level mechanisms for the protection and promotion of communities’ rights and interests – the municipal office for communities and return, the communities committee, the deputy mayor for communities and the deputy municipal assembly chairperson for communities – including a review of the legal and policy framework and of establishment and practical functioning.
