The High Commissioner on National Minorities’ Recommendations on the Effective Participation of National Minorities in Social and Economic Life offer practical tools to facilitate social and economic participation at different levels and in various settings.

Effective labour migration management is an integral part of good economic governance. The Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA) supports participating States in developing and strengthening comprehensive and effective migration policies as a key contributing factor to security, stability and growth.

The purpose of this document is to provide all dog handlers/instructors/supervisors and other stakeholders with documented and structured guidelines on the use and maintenance of dogs, for law enforcement officials, as well as a description of their responsibilities.

The Russian translation of the publication provided by the OSCE is part of the project “Prevention of Illegal Cross-border Transport of Hazardous Waste and Other Cross-border Environmental Crimes”.

This publication is an instrumental guide into radioactive materials, procedures of their identification and security measures. It is aimed at environmental inspectors, customs personnel, border guards. Its small format will allow the officials to have it at hand while performing load checks at the border crossings. It is not available in English.

Climate change can impact security in a number of ways. The OSCE raises awareness, facilitates the identification and mapping of potential security risks stemming from climate change, and helps in addressing these risks through participatory approaches. The Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA) in partnership with the Berlin-based think tank adelphi, has embarked in 2020 on an extensive regional consultation process on climate change and security in South-Eastern Europe, which engaged representatives of governmental bodies, civil society organizations, academia from the region as well as regional and international organizations. This report outlines the results of this consultation process: potential climate-related security risks, shared hotspots, regional challenges, and co-operation opportunities.
