The Guide for Municipal Officials on Personal Data Protection and Access to Public Documents is intended for municipal officials who manage access to public documents and the protection and processing of personal data. In 2024, the OSCE and the Information and Privacy Agency in Kosovo launched an initiative to enhance the capacities of these officials through a series of regional workshops. These efforts culminated in the creation of this publication.

This brochure produced by the OSCE provides useful information on nature of chemical threats, as well as a number of practical tips that will help civilians to undertake safety measures and provide first aid in case of poisoning by industrial toxic chemicals (ammonia, chlorine, nitric acid and mercury). The brochure portrays basic principles of circular economy and its benefits to environmental safety, job generation and economic growth through inclusive policies. It also contains concrete information regarding improvements in national waste management policies supporting circular economy development, transition from linear to circular economy and its impact on energy consumption and preservation, new opportunities for the Serbian industry in the sphere of circular economy, international experiences as well as national support programmes and good practice examples from Serbia. The aim of this guide is to encourage OSCE participating States to adopt good practices to address and prevent childhood statelessness, ensure universal birth registration and implement other positive measures to protect stateless children. It summarizes the international legal framework relating to the prevention of childhood statelessness and provides examples of good practices from selected OSCE participating States. The guide was jointly developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) and UNHCR.
