The Guidelines for the Effective Performance of Municipal Coordination Mechanisms against Domestic Violence (MCMDV) are a practical tool to facilitate more effective and co-ordinated responses of these mechanisms to domestic violence cases at the local level. They cover the legal basis and purpose of the MCMDVs, the importance of a multi-institutional and coordinated approach, data collection and reporting, and training and capacity building for MCMDV members.

This practical guide is intended to support the full range of parliamentary actors — from parliamentary leadership teams, members of parliament, and political and parliamentary staff, to parliamentary practitioners and civil society organizations dealing with gender equality issues — in transforming these institutions into gender-sensitive parliaments.

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro supported the development of the RTCG Development Strategy 2023-2027, by engaging an external consultant, Professor Mirjana Nikolić. The Strategy’s primary goal is to articulate the future growth of the public media service’s top niche programme production and technology requirements with the aim of promoting and safeguarding the public interest, democratic and European values, professional and ethical norms.

Handbook for fieldwork

The purpose of this Guide is to describe and analyze hate incidents and hate crimes faced by Roma and Sinti, as well as the corresponding security challenges.

The purpose of this handbook is to provide the 57 OSCE participating States and 11 Partners for Co-operation with a reference guide on available legal tools, the latest legislative and policy trends, and pertinent measures and practices to prevent and suppress corruption. It is aimed at raising awareness of the range of international instruments available to national policymakers and anti-corruption practitioners, and assisting them in developing and implementing effective anti-corruption policies and measures, thereby reducing the possibilities for corruption, instability and transnational crime. The handbook is produced by the OSCE in collaboration with UNODC, OECD and GRECO and other partners.

This publication is the final product of the project “Promoting Transparency and Accountability in Public Institutions”, which was part of an OSCE multi-annual plan to support the implementation of the State Programme for Prevention and Repression of Corruption and Conflict of Interests 2011-2015.

The guide was prepared and shared with participants of the Syunik Investment Forum on 11-13 November 2013 organized by the OSCE programme implementation presence in Kapan (Syunik) and the local administration. Markets for Meghri, World Vision Armenia, Kapan Area Development Foundation and Kapan Municipality also contributed to the guide development.
