2019 Review of the Emergency Situations in the Republic of Tajikistan

This review was prepared in collaboration with the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The publication contains information on the state system of prevention response to and protection of the population and the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan in emergency situations, the implementation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Strategy, civil defense as well as well as search and rescue activities. The review also includes information on public outreach activities in the area of prevention and response to emergency situations, human resources policy, international co-operation and key areas of the Committee’s development in 2019. The review is available in Russian and Tajik languages.
