Extension of the mandate of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.

The OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the OSCE Mission to Skopje, in co-operation with the Media Association of South East Europe, host the conference Media Sustainability and Successful Media Business Models on 9 and 10 October 2018 in Podgorica.

This declaration serves as a condemnation of the shooting of the investigative journalist, Olivera Lakić, on of 8 May 2018 in Montenegro. The declaration was approved by the participants of the OSCE South East Europe Conference in Struga, 10 May 2018.

The 18th Cetinje Parliamentary Forum “Women in Business”, hosted by the Parliament of Montenegro in cooperation with the OSCE, held on 8 and 9 June 2015 in Cetinje, adopted the Joint Statement which states that the countries participating in the Cetinje Parliamentary Forum have established the legal and institutional framework supporting gender equality, inviting for further enhancing of women’s rights and economic empowerment of women.
