About
Within the framework of the 2024 Warsaw Human Dimension Conference of the OSCE Chairpersonship of Malta, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is organizing a number of side events that will take place in addition to the formal plenary sessions.
These meetings - open to all registered conference participants - will enable more in-depth discussions that highlight ODIHR’s recent activities, publications and tools to strengthen democratic institutions and human rights throughout the OSCE region. The discussions will feed back into the work of ODIHR’s departmental programmes on human rights, rule of law, democratization, tolerance and non-discrimination, and the situation of Roma and Sinti in the OSCE area. The meetings will also explore other aspects of ODIHR’s mandate where relevant.
The side events will serve as a platform for debate and exchange, and at the same time allow participating States, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the media to provide valuable input on the topics covered by ODIHR’s mandate.
