Reform and co-operation in the security sector

Working with specialized non-governmental organizations and the parliamentary committees for defence and security, the Mission focuses its programmes on strengthening the oversight role of the parliament, promoting better communication of security sector institutions with citizens, and encouraging active participation of civil society in this area of the Mission’s engagement.
