OSCE-supported change management training course for Montenegro’s parliamentary services held in Podgorica

A change management training course, the last in a series of workshops for the parliamentary services of Montenegro organized by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro in co-operation with the parliament, was held on 31 May and 1 June 2018 in Podgorica.
During the workshop, 12 parliamentary staff had the opportunity to learn about the process and procedures of change in the business culture. The tools for managing and initiating change for the benefit of the institution were also presented.
The trainers provided a broad theoretical overview and discussed practical examples of organizational change phases, motivation strategies to support employees to accept change and how to utilize project management as an instrument for managing change. Defining key performance indicators and their application in managing business processes were also tackled during the course.
The aim of this programme is to support the development of the human resources of the parliamentary services through strengthening their staff capacities to develop a sustainable and modern structure and increase professionalism by fostering good governance standards.
