CHIŞINĂU, 13 August 2025 – Observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will hold a press conference on the opening of the observation mission to the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova on Friday 15 August.
HELSINKI, 31 July 2025 – The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen, launched the Helsinki+50 Fund at the Helsinki+50 Conference on 31 July 2025. The aim of the Fund is to support the OSCE’s operational capacity and improve the strategic management of voluntary funding in the OSCE.
HELSINKI, 30 July 2025 – The Helsinki+50 Discussions on the Future of the OSCE will take place on 1 August 2025 at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki. The Discussions, conducted in connection with the Helsinki+50 Conference, bring together all participating States, partner countries, and representatives of civil society.
The OSCE Chairpersonship Youth Forum will be convened in Helsinki on 29 and 30 July 2025. The event is organized with and for youth , taking stock of the added value that the OSCE offers in implementing the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) agenda. The Forum will feed into an OSCE-wide Roadmap that Finland will launch during its Chairpersonship.
HELSINKI, 21 July 2025 - To mark the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act, Finland will organize a conference at Finlandia Hall on 31 July 2025. The Helsinki+50 Conference will be hosted by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen. There will be a number of high-level speakers, including at the level of Foreign Minister.

VIENNA, 9 June 2025 — The Chairpersonship Conference on Climate and Security will take place 11 June 2025 in Hanaholmen, Espoo. At the Conference, experts will discuss a range of issues on climate, peace and security, including the environmental and climate impacts of conflicts and the role of businesses and civil society in strengthening climate security.
