Combating trafficking in human beings. Guide for precinct police inspectors (updated)
The guide was developed for the police officers of the Precinct Police Inspectors Service, to raise their awareness of what duties and functions they are to perform in prevention and combating trafficking in human beings. It outlines peculiarities of this crime provides guidance on the methods to be used by the police officers while working with victims of trafficking in human beings.

Provision of social services to various categories of trafficked persons
This research report presents an analysis of international legal instruments defining framework of assistance to victims of human trafficking. It outlines the basic conditions and principles to be considered when providing such assistance; describes national legislation that regulates work of social services providing assistance to victims of trafficking; explains consequences of human trafficking and basic needs of victims with due regard to age and gender aspects. The research highlights problems the victims of trafficking and social service providers face in reality and presents recommendations on how to solve those problems. This guidebook is a useful tool for the identification of human trafficking cases. It helps to better understand the consequences of being a victim of this crime. It also provides guidance on how to determine and consider the special needs of victims taking into account age and gender aspects. It contains methodological recommendations on how to provide the assistance needed and better use resources of other social service providers, including community resources. Working materials of the piloting component of the project “Enhancement of anti-trafficking National Referral Mechanism (NRM) in Ukraine”
In 2009-2010 the Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports in conjunction with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine implemented a pilot project entitled “Enhancement of Anti-Trafficking National Referral Mechanism in Ukraine”. This publication contains materials produced within the project implementation in two pilot regions – Donetsk and Chernivtsi, in which the mechanism of co-operation between various state offices and nongovernmental offices, including the provision of assistance to human trafficking victims, was tested. This experience was further used as a reference source for the development of a nationwide victims referral mechanism (NRM). Available in Ukrainian only.
