The fourth international forum on the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) for legal professionals, co-organized by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, was held on 27 November 2015 in Lviv.

The participants of the three-day event discussed the protection of human rights with judges and lawyers of the ECtHR, exchanging views on specific provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights and the ECtHR case-law, as well as their application in Ukraine.

ECtHR judges from Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, Romania and Ukraine informed participants about the most recent practices and approaches at the Court.

The forum was organized with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv as part of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine’s work on safeguarding human rights through courts. This project is funded by the Government of Canada.
