Call for participants at Cross-Border Research Conference in Tajikistan

Researchers and practitioners specializing in border management and the security sector from OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation are invited to apply to participate in the Cross-Border Research Conference 2015. The event will take place from 7 to 11 December at the OSCE Border Management Staff College in Dushanbe. Its aim is to facilitate an open and constructive dialogue between researchers and practitioners based on research works and practical experiences which foster a better understanding of the world best practices in applying new technologies in resolving border-related issues.

To apply, researchers are requested to submit their article along with a relevant presentation, while practitioners are asked to prepare a presentation on their professional achievements. All conference-related articles and presentations should be on the topic of  “Developing Innovative Solutions to Border Issues through New Technologies”.  The deadline for submissions is 20 October, 2015.
