Advanced Training of Trainers on Intervention and Research Technics for Border Police Officers

The OSCE Mission to Skopje in co-operation with the French Embassy in Skopje and the Interior Ministry will organize a five-day TOT training on “Intervention and Research Technics” for 20 participants of the Border Police and Sector of Internal Affairs – Public Sector Police, starting from 11 April to 15 April.
This training is aimed at further enhancing skills of the police officers in their efforts to more effectively tackle the phenomenon of cross-border criminality, such as irregular migration and human trafficking, smuggling of narcotics, proliferation of small arms and light weapons, with an ultimate objective to dismantle organized crime networks.
Participants will gain advanced knowledge about human rights, self- defence, stop and search activity, as well as organisation and delivery of regular training courses. The newly trained police officers will deliver regular trainings and cascade their knowledge and skills to their colleagues in the field.
