OSCE Mission to Skopje trains lawyers on addressing challenges during the application of evidence
Some 100 attorneys from across the country attended an OSCE-supported training course in Skopje on 26 October 2015 focusing on the rules of evidence as presented in the Law on Criminal Procedure.
The participants also discussed their common interpretation of evidence while detecting practical challenges faced by the defence.
The training course, organized by the OSCE Mission to Skopje in co-operation with the Bar Association, is the first in the series of four one-day training courses dedicated to the rules of evidence and objections as articulated under national criminal legislation and in line with international best practices.
Conclusions and recommendations from the training course will be used to further promote fair trial theory and practice in the country.
