OSCE Mission to Skopje supports train-the-trainers course for Interior Ministry officials on crisis management in hostage situations
The OSCE Mission to Skopje is supporting a five-day train-the-trainers course for the country’s Interior Ministry officials on crisis management in hostage situations and hostage negotiations from 26 to 30 October 2015 at the International Training Centre in Budapest, Hungary.
A role-playing will be used to recreate a real-life scenario and teach participants on how to assess and react to different crisis situations. After each simulation, trainees will evaluate the session with the assistance of a psychologist and the trainers.
After completing the course, the trainees will go on to train their colleagues using the same methodology and exercises.
A basic and advanced level training course on the same topic took place in 2013 and 2014 in Budapest with the participation of the same Ministry officials as part of the longstanding co-operation with the OSCE Mission to Skopje aimed at combating transnational threats and organized crime.
