OSCE Mission to Skopje organizes in-depth control training for border police officers
The OSCE Mission to Skopje in co-operation with the Hungarian Embassy in Skopje and Hungarian national police will train 13 Border Police Officers on in-depth control and integrated border management in Budapest from 20 to 25 April 2015.
The police officers will be trained on how to better detect and supress unauthorized and illegal cross-border crossings and cross-border crimes.
During the joint exercises with the Hungarian police, the border police officers will practise how to conduct in-depth search and control on highways, supermarkets, and bus/railway stations in order to detect irregular migrants and perpetrators of cross-border crimes.
The activity aims at strengthening the capacity building of Border Police officers on conducting in-depth searches and checks at higher standards, as well as fighting against organized and trans-national crimes.
