The brochure was produced within the project, "Promotion of environmental activism in Šumadija and South-West Serbia“ and implemented by the Volunteer Centre Kragujevac with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia under the Environment and Security (ENVSEC) Initiative.

The brochure was produced within the project, "Promotion of environmental activism in Šumadija and South-West Serbia“ and implemented by the Volunteer Centre Kragujevac with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia under the Environment and Security (ENVSEC) Initiative. The aim of the project was to raise awareness among civil society and local government on environmental issues in 14 towns in South-West Serbia and Šumadija regions to advocate for more active participation of civil society in resolving local environmental issues. Additionally, the project aimed to contribute to the development of sustainable partnerships among civil society, the business sector, local authorities and the media in the area of environmental protection. The project was implemented in August and September 2011.
