The OSCE Mission to Serbia is organizing a conference on prosecutorial investigation in light of the criminal procedure reforms in the region on Friday, 20 June, in Belgrade.
The conference will focus on different comparative law solutions and experiences in conducting prosecutorial investigations. The debate will also focus on the challenges faced by Serbia in light of the new Criminal Procedure Code (CPC).
Participants include legal experts, judges, prosecutors, defence attorneys and police officers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia.
As part of the conference, the OSCE Mission to Serbia will present an OSCE-edited publication prepared by judicial experts on regional criminal procedure legislations and experiences in the application.
President of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Dragomir Milojević, Republic Public Prosecutor, Zagorka Dolovac, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Radomir Ilić, President of Serbian Bar Association, Dragoljub Djordjević and Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Peter Burkhard will speak at the opening of the event.
