The curriculum provides a step-by-step description of how to conduct training for police, prosecutors and judges on the sensitive and respectful treatment of hate crime victims. It aims to improve their knowledge and skills on how to respond to and interact with hate crime victims and by doing so, empower victims, prevent re-victimization and build a sense of trust in the criminal justice process. The curriculum has been developed in a modular structure, enabling trainers to integrate relevant modules into various training programmes.

Hate crime victims require access to specialist support services. These services should be victim-centred, needs-based and diversity-sensitive. They should include practical help, emotional and psychosocial support, advice relating to legal and financial issues and community engagement. Such specialist support services for hate crime victims should be free of charge, confidential and form an integral part of a comprehensive hate crime response.

Research Study Position of Women in Trade Unions in Serbia prepared by CSO Women Association FemPlatz, in 2020, with the OSCE Mission's support. According to the Research, there are still existent gaps in the living standards and in the well-being of men and women in Serbia. Gender inequalities at labor market exist in different important aspects, such as segregation in occupation and employment sectors, existence of glass ceilings, and, in addition, it shows, that, although women workers have played a key role during COVID-19 epidemic, they have been more exposed to economic consequences of the epidemic than men. Research also highlights the need to address serious representation gaps in trade unions, especially at leadership positions, as well as the need to review and adapt policies in order to genuinely serve men and women alike, underlining the fact that gender equality is an important union matter. It contains recommendations for a gender-responsive approach in economic area in order to avoid further reproducing or accentuating of economic and gender inequalities and in order to improve future approach in use of women’s resources.

Preventing and countering violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT) is an area of increasing focus at the international, regional and national levels. This also applies to the prison context, due to fears that prisons may represent breeding grounds for VERLT. Such concerns are heightened after terrorist attacks perpetrated by individuals who appear to have radicalized towards violence while imprisoned.
