ODIHR opens limited election observation mission in Poland

Warsaw, 14 April 2025 – The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) today opened a limited election observation mission for the 18 May 2025 presidential election in Poland, following an invitation from the national authorities.

Tajik youth complete OSCE-supported training on equality and non-discrimination

On 13 April 2025, a three-day training course on preventing discrimination concluded in Dushanbe, bringing together 21 young people (8 women and 13 men). The training focused on practical skills on conducting awareness-raising events, interacting with relevant agencies, combating discrimination in everyday life, and more. It included interactive sessions, role-playing games, and discussions on current challenges in the field of human rights.

Labour inspectors boost skills for identifying and preventing human trafficking of Ukrainian refugees through OSCE workshop

Labour inspectors sharpened their skills detecting and responding to cases of forced labour, particularly those involving Ukrainians fleeing the war, at a workshop held in Vienna by the Office of the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in
