Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting (SHDM) II on Effective Multilateralism in the OSCE Human Dimension

The SHDM will provide a platform for an exchange of views among OSCE participating States, OSCE institutions and other executive structures and a variety of international organizations, civil society and other stakeholders on the identification of good practices of effective multilateralism, with a view to improving the implementation of OSCE commitments. The SHDM will also focus on identifying concrete areas of assistance to OSCE participating States, which can be strengthened by more effective multilateralism.
Participants
Representatives of OSCE participating States, OSCE institutions and OSCE executive structures, representatives of inter-governmental organizations, representatives of civil society and researchers from 57 participating States that have relevant experience in the topic are encouraged to participate in the SHDM. The Partners for Co-operation are invited to attend and contribute with respect to their co-operation and links with the OSCE in the field.
Participation in the Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting is free of charge, although all travel and accommodation costs should be borne by participants. Participants are kindly requested to make their own travel and hotel arrangements. A list of selected hotels in Vienna is available on the website.

Registration
Participants wishing to attend the meeting are requested to register online at https://meetings.odihr.pl.
Registration is open until Wednesday, 10 July at 12.00 noon (CET).
Important note: registration after this date will be closed and registration on-site will not be available.
Modalities & Logistics
The modalities of the meeting are set out in accordance with the decision of the Permanent Council (PC.DEC/476, 23 May 2002).
Interpretation will be provided into the six official OSCE languages: English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
The meeting will start with the opening session, followed by three working sessions and the closing session. For further details please consult the General Information and Agenda documents.

Side events
The possibility to hold side events during SHDM will be provided to registered participants. The booking of side events will open on Wednesday, 26 June at 12.00 noon (CET), and close on Tuesday, 9 July at 23.59 (CET).
