Organized as part of a joint UNESCO and ODIHR programme on addressing anti-Semitism through education, this sub-regional conference will further advance international knowledge exchange and develop actions to counter and prevent anti-Semitism in the field of education. The event will bring together Education Ministry policymakers and expert practitioners from Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Serbia and Slovakia, and is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.
During the event, national delegates will be able to share their knowledge and learn about effective methodologies and actions on anti-Semitism education from international expert practitioners. Delegates will present their current and future programmes. The conference aims to reflect on successes, identify areas for improvement and inspire further activities — with a particular focus on longer-term, systematic and sustainable changes in education that address prejudice and ensure the safety and well-being of Jewish students. Delegations will be invited to develop proposals for further action.
Participation is by invitation only.
