New Head of OSCE Mission to Montenegro commences his duties

PODGORICA, 3 December 2012 – Ambassador Lubomir Kopaj of Slovakia today commenced his assignment as the new Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
Previously he served as the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, and led a number of election observation missions of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, including those in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Kopaj will lead the OSCE Mission to Montenegro comprised of 44 international and national personnel based at the Mission’s headquarters in Podgorica.
He has extensive diplomatic experience, having served as Ambassador of Slovakia in the Netherlands and a position of a Director General in the Foreign Ministry of Slovakia.
