This is the first of six seminars that the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, in co-operation with the US Embassy in Podgorica and the Centre for Training of Judges is organizing for Montenegrin judges, prosecutors, police officers and lawyers.
The purpose of the seminars is to facilitate future implementation of new legal concepts and instruments introduced by the Criminal Proceedings Code.
The first seminar will be addressed by the President of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, Vesna Medenica; the Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ambassador Paraschiva Badescu; the US Ambassador to Montenegro, Roderick W. Moore; the Supreme State Prosecutor of Montenegro, Ranka Carapic; and Montenegro's Justice Minister, Miras Radovic.
Lectures will be given by Prof. Milan Skulic of the Law Faculty in Belgrade, Serbia; Vesna Jovicevic, Higher State Prosecutor from Podgorica; and Ingrid Gruber, Public Prosecutor of Austria (retired).
